Community Health Fair "Your Health, Your Legacy - A Health Fair Empowering You To Make A Difference"
Jack and Jill of America, Inc will bring families together for a healthier future. As part of the 46th National Convention, Your Health, Engage in healthy heart, blood pressure, and kidney screenings as well as mental health, crown club and healthy kids eating activities. The American Red Cross will also host a blood drive.

Join some of our partners: American Heart Association, March of Dimes, St. Jude Hospital and the American Red Cross as we work together to empower healthy futures for African-American families.

President's Welcome Reception (Chapter Presidents/Invitation Only)

Paisley Park is Prince's extraordinary estate and production complex and a place where art, music, fashion, and culture are celebrated, energized, and inspired by the visionary creative spirit of Prince.  This is a unique opportunity to experience what it was like for Prince to create, produce, and perform inside this private sanctuary and remarkable production complex. Throughout the experience, see artifacts from Prince's personal archives, including iconic concert wardrobe, awards, musical instruments, artwork, motorcycles, rare music, and video recordings

Kick off the 46th National Convention with an iconic Welcome Party!  DJ Vince Adams is a name that has resonated throughout the party scene for the past 25 years and one of the few Chicago DJs to personally spin for President Barack Obama. 
 

What better way to be welcomed to Minneapolis than by world famous Percussionist Shelia E.! Get ready to dance the night away to her hits "The Glamourous Life" and "Love Bizarre."

Join us for the Legislative Luncheon at the Minneapolis Hilton on July 25, 2024, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm, where legal luminaries, including state attorneys general and judges, will share messages of hope and encouragement amidst the tumultuous legal landscape of the past five years in the US, under the theme "Democracy, Justice, & Equity: The Power of Advocacy". Experience an inspiring gathering in the Grand Ballroom as we delve into the transformative potential of advocacy in shaping a more just and equitable society.

Closing Gala, "A Crystal Night in Lights" with Jay Ellis

Celebrate the Masterpiece of Legacy at 46th National Convention Gala hosted by Jay Ellis. Mr. Ellis the is an LA-based actor, writer, director, and producer. He is best known for his role s ‘Lawrence’ on HBO’s critically-acclaimed, Golden Globe-nominated series Insecure, created by Issa Rae and Larry Wilmore. Ellis also played ‘Lt. Reuben ‘Playback’ Fitch in the recent box-office hit Top Gun: Maverick. Ellis most recently appeared opposite Alison Brie in the Amazon Prime romantic comedy, Somebody I Used to Know. Jay won a 2018 NAACP Image Award for “Outstanding Supporting Actor” in a Comedy Series. Jay also starred as ‘Bryce “Blue” Westbrook’ on the hit BET series The Game from 2013-2015. Jay served as the National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day Spokesman. The Obama administration requested him to speak and moderate a panel at the White House for the final My Brother’s Keeper summit.

Sunday Gospel Breakfast

We will come together as a Jack and Jill family to worship at the Gospel Breakfast featuring Tremaine Hawkins. She is a two- time Grammy & GMA Dove Award Winner and has won over 19 Stellar Awards including the Aretha Franklin Icon Award for impact on Gospel Music in 2021. Tramaine’s lead vocals on such classics as “Changed,” “Going Up Yonder,” “Holy One,” “The Potter’s House” (the list goes on and on) are absolutely incomparable. Enjoying a successful solo career, Tramaine remains a force to reckon with in the field of Gospel Music and Ministry. Known to be a trailblazer, she’s gone against the grain many times for the sake of catapulting Gospel music to another level.
