Welcome Message From
Regional Director Tanya Watson
Mothers of the Mighty Mid-Western Region,
On behalf of the Regional Executive Board, it is my privilege and pleasure to welcome you to the 2021 Area Workday Clusters! We are grateful that you have taken time to join us in Schaumburg, Illinois or Greater Grand Rapids, Michigan. Our clusters promise to be educational, uplifting and full of laughter.
Our members are the foundation and strength of this region. That is what makes us Mighty! Thank you to everyone who participated in the survey that helped us determine an in person cluster series was the right thing to do. We will gather responsibly, practice safety precautions and enjoy each other and the event.
This year's theme is "Building Your Bench Strength." We are addressing the whole Jack and Jill Mother and Teen Leader. This mind, body, spirit and organizational experience was designed especially for you. You will immerse yourself in sessions tailored to enhance your personal and life skills while providing training to elevate your chapter experience.
It is my hope that each of you will be inspired by and engaged in the workshops and activities and I am sure you will have a rewarding experience.
Thank you for your presence and willingness to participate in the Area Workday Cluster. I also thank you for your confidence in us as we launch this program year. Our region is blessed to have you.
Yours in service to ALL children,
Tanya Watson

Welcome Message From
Regional Teen President Asata Young
Greetings Teens of the Mighty Mid-Western Region,
Thank you for joining us at Area Workday Cluster 2021! Whether you are virtual or in person, the Regional Teen Board is so grateful to get the opportunity to connect with you all over this weekend. Be ready for a weekend of new friendships, inspiration, real talk, and a preview of what is to come for the rest of the program year. This year we are recognizing that Black IS the past, present, and the future with the theme: Black Evolution. Through the past two years, we have been in a constant state of evolution with COVID-19 to issues of race and politics. We will explore elements of our past, while appreciating the beauty of our blackness in the present and the great potential of our futures. There will be opportunities for you all to express your voice; so, speak up on the things you believe in and share your thoughts about hot topics right now. We look forward to hearing things you all are passionate about, so be ready to be present with us as we go on this journey through time and history in Black Evolution!
