Mothers Community Service:
The South Central Region will implement three (3) service projects during the 2025 Area Work Day—two (2) led by our teens and one (1) led by our mothers.
To support these efforts, we are requesting that each chapter contribute a per capita donation as follows:
• $10 per Chapter Teen
• $20 per Chapter Mother/Associate
Please note that this contribution is based on your entire chapter roster, not just those attending Area Work Day.
Action Required:
• Chapter Community Service Chairs should complete one form per chapter no later than Thursday, September 19.
• On the form, please designate the total dollar amount to be invoiced for each category (teens and mothers/associates).
• Funds will be collected at the chapter level.
Invoicing Process:
• Regional Treasurer Jennifer Jackson will generate one invoice per chapter based on the form submissions.
• Invoices will be sent to Chapter Treasurers by Saturday, September 21.
• Payments are due by Thursday, September 26.
• Timely payments will ensure the Region has sufficient time to purchase all supplies for the Teen-led assembly project.
Thank you in advance for your partnership and commitment to making Area Workday impactful!
Teen Community Service:
Our teens will:
• Conduct a blood drive with the American Red Cross
• Create mid-term survival kits for economically disadvantaged students attending HBCUs who are preparing for mid-terms
