Host Night Competition
Together We RISE Mother's Competition
Get ready, Chapters! This year’s competitions will bring our theme, Together We RISE, to life! We’re honoring the vibrant culture of El Paso by challenging each Chapter to design a one-of-a-kind Folklórico Crown that captures its spirit. A Folklórico Crown is a decorative headpiece worn as part of traditional folk dress in Baile Folklórico—a core element of El Paso’s cultural heritage. Submit a photo and a 360° video of your creation by September 19, then bring your masterpiece to Area Workday on Friday, October 10. The top seven (7) designs will advance to the final rounds, and for the first time ever, we’ll feature a People’s Choice Award, where Chapter members will vote for their favorite crown. Let’s rise together, showcase our creativity, and make this year’s competition unforgettable!
Chapter Host Night Competition – Soulful Fiesta
Get ready to bring the rhythm, Chapters! This year’s Host Night Competition is all about celebrating our theme, Soulful Fiesta. Each Chapter will choreograph and perform a 1-minute Chapter Line Dance that showcases creativity, energy, and teamwork—all submitted via video.
The Top 10 finalists will light up the stage at the El Paso-Southern New Mexico Chapter Host Night Party, performing live in front of the crowd for a chance to earn bragging rights!
To honor the vibrant culture of El Paso, all outfits should pay homage to the city’s rich heritage, following the official attire guide provided. This is your moment to shine—so bring the moves, the music, and the spirit of fiesta!
Together We RISE Teen Competition
Calling all creative teens! This year, you have the exciting challenge of designing the official teen apparel for Area Workday, inspired by our theme: Together We R.I.S.E. — One South Central: Rooted in Leadership, Igniting Passion, Serving with Purpose & Excellence in Action. Teens are asked to design a logo that reflects what this theme means to our region and to you. Submissions are due by September 19, and the winning design will be featured on the conference teen apparel, included as part of registration for every teen participant. Not only will your logo be worn with pride, but the winning design will also be unveiled and celebrated at Conference. Show your creativity, share your vision, and let’s rise together!
