Per the JJOA COVID-19 Guidelines, in order to attend a National or Regional indoor or outdoor event, all must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.  All children ages 5 and older must all be fully vaccinated in order to attend. Fully vaccinated means that the second dose of Pfizer or Moderna or the one dose Johnson and Johnson was administered on or before April 14, 2022.  Proof of vaccination will be required onsite at registration.

In addition, masks will be required at all times except when actively eating or drinking.

At this time, a booster shot is not required, however, the JJOA COVID-19 policy is subject to change. If the policy does change, it will be for those who are eligible to receive a booster based on the date of the last vaccination. If the policy is updated and you are eligible, but do not obtain the booster,  a refund is not possible.

It is possible that the JJOA COVID-19 Guidelines will be updated to require that all registered attendees test negative for COVID-19 prior to arrival (at their own expense) and be prepared to submit the test results. Note that if your test is positive, a refund is not possible.

For Friday and Sunday, no. On Saturday, yes. Here are the details:

FRIDAY
After the Welcome Reception, adults and grades 6-12 will stay at the Cox Center to watch the play, The Griffins. There will be volunteers to escort grades K-5 to the DoubleTree Hotel for their respective events. A designated parent will need to pick up the child at the end of the event. If you feel that you need to stay with your child, you are welcome to.

SATURDAY GREENWOOD DISTRICT TOURS
Since the topics and exhibits may not be suitable for all ages, the Black Wall Street Experience tours will be conducted by grade group and these groups will stay together starting on the bus until the 2:00pm return. Moms with multiple kids that could be on differing touring tracks need to think about who will be with your child as all children will need to be accompanied by an adult on our Saturday excursion.  This is not only for safety but also for conversation.  Besides spouses and fathers, we suggest that mother members partner up prior to registration to make sure all children can be accounted for and have the best experience that would be suited for them.  During the registration process, you will need to name the registered adult who will be with each child.

Grade groupings are:
K-2
3-5
6-8
9-12

If you have two or more children in the same grade grouping, then one adult can be with each of the children in that group.

SATURDAY RODEO
Families will travel together by bus to the rodeo and will also be seated together.

SUNDAY
Families will be seated together for the Worship service and breakfast.

For the Saturday Greenwood Tour, it is important that all groups stay together, starting on their assigned bus and during the time at Greenwood. To stay on time and organized, we cannot afford delays while groups try to reconnect. Therefore, you will need to travel on the bus with the group.
