Chrissy M. Thornton is the Executive Director of the Maryland/Southern Delaware Chapter of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation. She's been recognized for developing professional staff training programs to revitalize departments, and implementing organizational change efforts into growing businesses. Experienced in organizational diagnosis and the design and facilitation of large-scale events and staff development activities, Chrissy has a twenty year background in successful fundraising, donor and corporate relations, digital engagement, grant writing, and the seamless execution of exceptional meetings, events, training seminars, team building sessions, education conferences, fundraisers, peer-to-peer events, and more!
Chrissy is the Founder of My Girl Power Hour where she offers a discussion series and training webinars empowering women and young people to overcome obstacles and live their best lives. Chrissy is a published author, has a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Organizational Management, is a sought after public speaker, and resides in Maryland with her two children. Chrissy joined Jack of Jill of America, Inc. in 2013 and served two terms as the Chapter Program Director, achieving first place in Programming for the Eastern Region for 2018 - 2019 and 2019 - 2020 and Best of the Best in Programming at the National level in 2020. She authored the children's book, The Holiday Party which was featured on National Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Bedtime Stories in 2015. She is presently serving as Chapter President for Greater Baltimore County, an elected member of the Eastern Regional Nominating Committee, and as the Eastern Regional Teen Advisor.

Ingrid Parris-Hicklin is the television producer and host of Ingrid's World which can be seen on YouTube and on channel 10, Fairfax Public Access located in Fairfax, Virginia. Ingrid's World is an inspirational television show. Ingrid has produced 90 episodes of Ingrid's World. In 2018 Ingrid was awarded a Silver People’s Telly Award for her cable television show Ingrid’s World. Ingrid retired from Fairfax County Government in 2012 after over 30 years in public service As a Fairfax County employee she was the recipient of numerous awards. Most notably she received the A. Heath Onthank Award for merit which is the highest honor that Fairfax County Government awards to its employees. Ingrid's love of service includes being a member and past President of the Rotary Club of Tysons Corner. She is a lifetime member, past President, and Charter Member of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., Prince William County Chapter. Ingrid is also a Charter Member and Chaplin of the Old Dominion (VA) Chapter, The Links, Incorporated. Ingrid and her husband Christopher are members of Holy Family Catholic Church and parents of three sons. Mrs. Pariss-Hicklin is an associate member of the Prince William County Chapter of Jack & Jill of America, Inc.
