Chapter Competition

Pegasus Purpose Project Competition

In celebration of Area Workday 2026: “Serving… Rising… and Elevating our Why!”, chapters are invited to participate in the Pegasus Purpose Project Competition, a creative showcase inspired by one of Dallas’ most iconic symbols—the Pegasus.

Each chapter will design and create a Pegasus-inspired display that reflects how their chapter is serving with purpose, rising in leadership, and elevating their why. Designs should creatively incorporate the Area Workday theme while highlighting the chapter’s service, leadership, philanthropy, and impact. Chapters may purchase a Pegasus and leverage this as the canvas.

Chapters must submit a photo and a 360° video of their creation by September 15, then bring their masterpiece to Area Workday on Friday, October 2 for judging and display. The top seven (7) designs will advance to the final rounds.

Once again, we will feature a People’s Choice Award, where Chapter members will vote for their favorite Pegasus.

Let’s rise together, showcase our creativity, and make this year’s competition unforgettable!

Chapter Host Night Competition

Rhythm of the South: Dallas Black Music & Movement Challenge

Chapters are invited to participate in the Rhythm of the South: Dallas Black Music & Movement Challenge, an energetic onsite competition celebrating Black Dallas culture, creativity, and chapter purpose.

Dallas’ cultural identity is deeply rooted in historic neighborhoods, music, art, and community celebration. From the creative legacy of Deep Ellum to the continued celebration of Black culture through music, dance, art, discussion, and community gatherings, Dallas provides the perfect backdrop for chapters to express who they are and why they serve.

During Host Night, each chapter team will have 90 seconds to perform a step, stroll, or spoken word. Each performance must include the words “Serving”, “Rising”, and “Elevating”, one Dallas cultural reference, and one statement of chapter purpose.

Performances will be judged on historical connection, creativity, theme alignment, teamwork, adherence to the criteria, and overall presentation.

Let’s bring the rhythm, honor the culture, and elevate our why together!

Teen Competition

Serving...Rising...and Elevating our Why!

Calling all creative teens! This year, you have the exciting challenge of designing the official teen apparel for Area Workday, inspired by our theme: Serving… Rising… and Elevating our Why!

Teens are asked to design a logo that reflects what this theme means to our region and to you. Submissions are due by August 31, and the winning design will be featured on the conference teen apparel, included as part of registration for every teen participant.

Not only will your logo be worn with pride, but the winning design will also be unveiled and celebrated at Area Work Day.

Show your creativity, share your vision, and let’s rise together!
