Join us for a mental and physical total body workout, as we journey to fitness with Victoria Thomas, trainer to some of the world’s top athletes in the NFL, WNBA and professional volleyball. Bring you positive energy and meet us on a sensational fitness journey. This session is for all attendees.
8:15 AM - 10:00 AMTHE SENSATIONAL RESET: General Assembly
Get ready to hear from our Regional and National Officers. The general assembly will prepare us for the program year ahead and opportunities for members to stay engaged and informed. This session is for all attendees.
10:15 AM - 11:15 AMKEYNOTE SESSION THE SISTERHOOD RESET: My Sister’s Keeper

I AM MY SISTER’S KEEPER! In this session, attendees will learn how to support, encourage and empower each other to do the important work of Jack & Jill alongside one another. Back by popular demand, Life Strategist Pamela Benson Owens will share essential strategies on how to show up with intentionality, bring our best selves to the table and how to get the most out of the Jack & Jill journey. This session is for all attendees.

11:30 AM - 12:45 PMASSOCIATES SESSION I: General Meeting

This session will provide an opportunity for Associates to discuss the 2021-2022 program year plans. This is also an opportunity for new Associates to gain insight on the working collaboration between chapters and the Associates Group, governing documents and strategic plans for the South Central Region Associates’ Groups.

1:00 PM - 2:15 PMRE-AFFIRM: Raising A Resilient Child
Now more than ever, children need resilience. Resilience is the ability to bounce back from stress, adversity, failure, challenges, or even trauma. It's not something that kids either have or don't have; it's a skill that kids develop as they grow. Learn how you can help develop and instill resilience in children.

1:00 PM - 2:15 PMRE-FUEL: Make & Break Habits for Healthy Living

What’s holding you back from achieving a healthy lifestyle? Healthy eating and physical activity are the building blocks of a healthier life. The right mix can help you be healthier now and in the future. Learn to break bad habits and learn to incorporate new healthy habits - small changes can make a big difference.

1:00 PM - 2:15 PMRE-CHARGE: Taking Self-Care Seriously
Self-care is the process of taking care of ourselves in ways that promote health and wellbeing. As African American women, we must take our health and wellbeing seriously. From physical fitness to mindfulness, our bodies, minds and souls may need a tune-up, from time to time. Learn how to incorporate self-care techniques into your lifestyle. This session will offer tips and resources to become “whole” mind, body and soul.

2:30 PM - 3:50 PMASSOCIATES SESSION II: Social Media Etiquette

Social Media and Zoom are growing rapidly and expanding.  We need to know how to navigate, interact and respond appropriately in this rapidly expanding arena. This session will help you learn to talk to people in different social settings because it differs from talking in real-life situations.  Navigating social media is another chance to form bonds with people by being respectful, helpful, engaging and authentic. We will discuss the Do’s and Don’ts to remember across all Social Media Platforms along with proper Zoom Etiquette.  Learn the proper social media etiquette and protect yourself from unfortunate social backlashes.
