Mid-Western Region Teen Conference

Greetings Teens of the Mighty Mid-Western Region

On behalf of the Regional Executive Board, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2022 Teen Leadership Conference. This year’s theme is Black Evolution, which couldn’t be more poignant given what we all have been going through during this ongoing pandemic.

For the first time in two years Teen Leadership Conference will be in person at Washington State University in St. Louis, Missouri! I cannot wait to see all your smiling faces for what is expected to be a Jack and Jill Conference like no other.

For many of you, this will be your first time attending a Teen Leadership Conference. Others have attended virtually while many of you have just become of age. For those who are returning you will notice some changes, but the overall essence of the Teen Leadership Conference will remain the same.

During this conference, teens of all ages and abilities will elect their peers to leadership positions, meet teens from other chapters, participate in engaging workshops and competitions and most importantly participate in the evolution of their own growth. Culminating the experience by saluting our graduating seniors.

I am thrilled to welcome our teens to the 2022 Teen Leadership Conference to get them motivated for the future, encourage them to not let anything stand in their way of evolving into amazing adults.

Greetings Teens of the Mighty Mid-Western Region,

The time has come for Teen Leadership Conference! Despite our two year absence of fully in person conferences, it is time to return to the unique culture and climate of Jack and Jill. This year the Regional Teen Leadership Board has worked diligently to create a conference that is excellent for each teen in our region. With a more tailored approach we will cater to new and younger teens as well as reintroduce the conference experience for juniors and seniors. Through this program year’s theme of Black Evolution, we will explore elements of our past, while appreciating the beauty of our blackness in the present and the great potential of our futures. So be ready to return and experience activities like the famous Jack and Jill Olympics, Step competitions, and Senior Gala as we will be back in full effect celebrating our legacy, our culture, and our evolution!
