GENERAL INFORMATION
Q. Can I use the JJ discounted hotel rate to arrive early or stay a few days later?
A. Yes, the secured rate is good for three days before the start of the conference and three days 
     after the conference date.

Q.  Will there be Jack and Jill sponsored programming for dads, teens and/or children?
A.   Jack and Jill sponsored programming will be for mothers and associates.

Q. Are family members able to attend the welcome reception and gala?
A. Mothers may purchase tickets for family members for the Welcome Reception and Closing 
    Gala.

Q. When is the Know Before You Go (KBYG) scheduled?

REGISTRATION
Q. When will registration close?
Tentatively May 9th.

Q.  What meals will my registration include?
A.  Your registration includes the meals at the following events: Welcome Reception (Wednesday),
      Associates Breakfast and Programming/Awards Luncheon (Thursday), Candidates Breakfast and the Closing Gala (Friday).
Q. Will extra tickets be available for any of the events?
A. We expect to sell tickets for the welcome reception and closing gala only. We will advertise 
     this at a later date.

Q.  Who may register for the Jack and Jill Mothers’ Regional Conference?
A.  Registration for Mothers’ Regional Conference is open to mothers and associates.

TRANSPORTATION
Q. What airport options are available? 
A. There are two airports in the area. Hilton Head Island regional airport is designated as HHH 
    and is approximately 15-20 minutes from the Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island. The Savannah/Hilton Head 
    International Airport (SAV) is approximately 1 hour from the Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island.
 
Q. What are my ground transportation options at SAV or HHH?
A. You may utilize an airport shuttle, SUV, or taxi. If you are utilizing HHH airport, you may use the recommended ground transportation providers and book directly with them. Booking your return transportation to HHH or SAV airport in advance is IMPORTANT. UBER and LYFT are NOT RECOMMENDED in Hilton Head.

Q. What are my transportation options if I choose to book an excursion? 
A. We will have options and provide more details in a separate email after registration closes.

RESORT INFORMATION
Q. What is the name of the resort?
A. Our conference is being held at Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island, 130 Shipyard Dr., Hilton 
    Head Island, SC.

Q. What are the check-in and check-out times for the Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island?
A. Check-in is available from 4:00 PM. There may be a fee for early check-in, depending 
    on availability. Check-out time is 11:00 AM, with the option of late check-out for an 
    additional fee, pending availability. The minimum age to check in is 21.

Q. Do the rooms have kitchenettes with microwaves?
A. Rooms feature a mini-fridge and a coffee maker. Select rooms include a kitchenette with a
     microwave.

Q.  Does the resort offer a Kids Camp?
Yes, we will have an exclusive Jack and Jill Kids Camp for children ages 4-12 operating Wednesday through Friday. The kids camp information and registration details will be provided to you via your registration confirmation. You will register and submit your payment directly with the resort. You may cancel up to seven days in advance to receive a refund. 
 
Q. What amenities does the Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island offer?
A. The resort offers a lagoon-style pool, fitness center, full-service Arum spa, bike rentals and 
     beach access. Shipyard Golf Club is 0.8 miles from the Sonesta with hotel shuttle service 
     for guests. Vandermeer Tennis Center is 1 mile from the Sonesta, with court time rentals. 
     There is a complimentary Trolley service to the Coligny Plaza shopping center.
 
Q. Is there coffee available at the resort?
A. The coffee shop, Sea Glass Provisions, located in the lobby, features a selection of coffee and 
     baked goods.
 
Q. How many restaurants are there on the resort?
A. There are multiple restaurant options on the resort.
    The Seacrest Restaurant & Terrace offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Sea Glass 
     Provisions offers on-the-go breakfast and lunch, and includes a coffee shop. The Sweet Cane 
     Bar & Grill offers poolside dining. The Driftwood Rum Bar offers small bites and appetizers.

Q. Is there on-site parking?
A. The Sonesta is a free self-park facility.

Q. Are pets welcome?
A. Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island is pet friendly and welcomes well-mannered dogs up to 40 pounds each with no breed restrictions. Guests traveling with dogs will be assigned to the first floor, and up to two (2) dogs are permitted per accommodation.  A pet fee of $50 per day is charged, up to a total of $200 per stay.

EXCURSIONS
Q. What types of options will be offered?
A.  Shortly after registration closes, we will send a separate communication featuring Jack and Jill-curated excursion options, including the Gullah Heritage Tour (a two-hour bus tour) and the Burnt Church Distillery Mixology and Tasting (90 minutes). We will also provide additional recommendations for families seeking a broader selection of activities, such as the Dafuskie Island Tour, Dolphin Eco Tour, and Harbortown Shopping Excursion.

ATTIRE
Q. What is the attire grid for Mothers Conference?
A.  The conference attire includes the following:

  • Regional Team Reception (invitation only): pink and/or blue sundresses and sandals
  • President’s Reception (invitation only): evening sundresses and sandals (COE color)
  • Memorial Service/Opening: ceremonial white; not attending ceremony: business pink or blue 
  • Welcome Reception: resort chic
  • Thursday Plenary: shades of blue
  • Friday Plenary: shades of pink
  • Closing Gala: glamorous white, pink or blue
