Welcome Message From
Regional Director Tanya Watson
Congratulations! On behalf of the Regional Executive Board and entire faculty of the Mighty Mid-Western Region’s University of Jack and Jill, we are delighted to welcome you to the 2020 Area Workday Cluster. Though fictitious, this University helps us deliver against our cluster objective to equip and prepare all attendees and keep the Jack and Jill promise while staying on mission. Last year we focused on the fundamentals while also offering capacity-crossing classes. This year we will focus on the ELECTIVES!
Electives help us to gain specialty knowledge that can be used to enhance or extend our ability to function in both Jack and Jill and our professional lives. Consequently, the information contained in the AWD’s workshops play a special role in our pursuit of and commitment to life-long learning.
In the past, participants have left Area Workday feeling prepared for success in chapter leadership, programming excellence, and member engagement. This year's class should should expect no less. Our 2020 interactive workshops are designed to inform, enhance and stretch you. Further, we believe that this elective-based curriculum will allow you to personalize your learning and add value to your JJ journey.
I would like to extend a warm welcome to our newest future chapters Forest City and Magnificent Mile. Your journey starts now!
We are excited you all have accepted to join the 2020 Class of the Area Workday Cluster. Please make sure to review the app so that you have the most up to date information for each class.
Committed to serving with purpose,
Tanya Watson, Regional Director
