The registration fee for all Associates, Spouses, 2024 Graduating Mothers, and Tenured Complete is $450 plus the credit card processing fee per person.  Life Members (not their spouses) are $435 plus the credit card processing fee per person.  All registrations will be verified via JJOA Headquarters.

Registration for Associates, Life Members and their spouses is open November 19 – December 10, or until capacity is reached, whichever comes first.  2024 Graduating Mothers and Tenured Complete may register December 3-December 14, subject to availability.                                                       

An active Associate paid National Per Capita and/or chapter Associate dues for the 2023-2034 program year. Tenured Complete has not paid the National Per Capita fee

Yes. Please make sure you have a valid Member ID. If it starts with a letter, that is an outdated Member ID and will not work. All Member ID’s are now 4-5 digit numbers. If you are not sure, prior to registration opening, please reach out to your chapter administrator for assistance. 

The Exhale Welcome Party will start at approximately 6:30pm local time. 

All scheduled activities will conclude around 10:00am on Sunday, February 18, 2024. 

No, there is only one event price of $450 or $435 for each attendee. 

No. They will not be able to join the JJOA excursions, have ground transportation with our provider or join the JJOA scheduled events. There is also no onsite registration. 

The getaway is at the JW Marriott Guanacaste, Hacienda Pinilla, Provincia de Guanacaste. 

The host hotel is the JW Marriott Guanacaste and the JJOA rate is $400 per night plus tax and a daily $6 housekeeping gratuity for a king bed or double bed garden view room. The rate for an ocean view room is $450 per night for a king bed or double bed and a daily $6 housekeeping gratuity. A limited number of suites may be available.  

Upon successful completion of your registration, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to secure your hotel lodging.  The deadline to book a room at this rate is December 15, 2024 by 12:00pm EST.  You must be registered to reserve a room in the JJOA block.  

No, the JW Marriott Guanacaste does not offer an all-inclusive rate. 

The JJOA reduced rate is valid from Monday, February 12 to Wednesday, February 21, 2024, subject to hotel availability.  Jack and Jill of America, Inc. has the right to cancel any reservations that it feels are not valid, for attendees that are not registered or that exceed the reasonable number of rooms needed based on the person registered. 

Only registered associates and their spouses may be in the JJOA block. Jack and Jill of America, Inc. has the right to cancel any reservations for attendees that are not registered.

 All reservations must be accompanied by a two-night room deposit. The hotel will not hold any reservations without a deposit. 

  Yes, but using points means that you will not be in the JJOA group block and will not have access to any of the group benefits. 

Only one person needs to book the hotel room for the occupants. When reserving the room, just enter the name of each person in the room. Any financial transactions for payment are between the room occupants. 

The JW Marriott Guanacaste offers a spa, private beach, golf course (5 minutes away), beach, infinity swimming pool, free wi-fi, gym, daily yoga classes, jogging trail, and several restaurants.

Check-in is 3:00pm and check-out is 12:00pm.

Resort casual and bring the appropriate attire for optional excursions.  Bring a kaftan for the fashion show. More details will be sent prior to departure.   

Liberia, Costa Rica (LIR) 

 Liberia Airport is approximately 90 minutes from the JW Marriott Guanacaste. 

No, due to the variety of dates members want to attend and multiple airports, group airfare is not being offered. 

Jack and Jill of America has contracted with a company to provide exclusive ground transportation for attendees.  The rate is $85 per person, each way.

Transportation includes a private guide, luggage assistance, water, and snacks.  You can pay for the transportation during registration. 

Yes, you can pay now and come back to your registration to update your itinerary. Also, you do not have to pay at registration; you can come back later and select Ground Transportation and pay. You have until February 1, 2024 to enter your information. 

The average daytime highs: 86 – 94 F.

The weather is dry and sunny. 

 The colon is the currency of Costa Rica. US dollars and major credit cards are widely accepted. 

There are no COVID related requirements or restrictions, nor are there any required vaccinations.  The only exception is if you are coming directly to Costa Rica from a country in South America or Africa where yellow fever is present.  If you are flying directly from the US, there are no requirements. 

On Friday and Saturday, we have contracted with a vendor that will offer a variety of excursions exclusive to Jack and Jill attendees (includes spouses). Prior to registration, please review the Excursion List to see the excursions, prices and times offered.  You will have the option to select and pay for excursions during registration.  If you are not ready, you will be able to come back no later than January 15, 2024 to select and pay for your excursions. 

The resort has several restaurants:  Sabanero Steakhouse, Nau Lobby Bar, Tamarine (Japanese, Sushi), Mansita (American, Mexican, Central American), Azul Pool Grill (seafood, South American, Costa Rican). 

There are several great restaurants and shopping in Tamarindo town which is less than 20 minutes from the hotel. A full list will be sent out after registration closes. The hotel offers limited transportation into town (for a fee) or you can arrange transportation through the JJOA provider (for a fee). 

 Via email, a link will be sent to each attendee to book an appointment. 

All registered attendees who are staying at the JW Marriott Guanacaste will receive 20% off of spa treatments. You must be staying at the hotel and in the JJOA block to receive the discount. 

Yes, and it must signed and be valid for 3 months after your departure date. Upon entry to Costa Rica, you need to be prepared to show proof of your return flight. You do not need a Visa to travel to Costa Rica. 

We know that circumstances can change, but unfortunately, there are no refunds.   However, substitutions are permitted until January 15, 2024, by sending an email to support@viprllc.com with the name of the current member and the details for the new member.   All monetary transactions are between the two mothers.
