On the Hill Summit--Eastern Region Dine Around Dinner & Tour

During the 2019 On the Hill (OTH) Summit, the Eastern Region will host a Dine Around and Washington, DC African American Heritage Tour on Friday, September 27, 2019 from 5:15pm - 9:00pm.

As part of the Eastern Region's objective to empower our families for success by knowing our history, we will travel by motor coach to visit and learn about sites important to African American heritage, history and culture. Stops and sites of interest can include:

The Lincoln Memorial
Historic U Street Corridor
Carter G. Woodson House
King Memorial
Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Headquarters
African American Civil War Memorial

This promises to be a captivating and insightful tour narrated by a licensed tour guide that will open up a whole new experience of Black History and American history.

Following the tour, we will have a private dinner at Clyde's Gallery Place, then return to the Washington Hilton.

Cost of the tour and dinner is $99 per person and is payable on the registration site by credit card. All teens must have a designated adult accompany them for the evening. Dinner only is $70 and does not include transporation to or from Clyde's.

We hope that you will join the Eastern Region for an evening of education, exploration, and good food. You do not have to be registered for the OTH Summit to particiapte.

Registration is open until September 25, 2019, or until it sells out, whichever comes first.
