Greetings Chapter Presidents, Mother Members, and Families,
We are thrilled to welcome you to the 2021 Chicagoland Children’s Cluster on Saturday, March 20, 2021.
This will be a completely virtual Cluster experience and the fabulous Milwaukee Chapter Mothers have worked tirelessly to design a fun-filled and engaging experience for our children and tweens. Although we cannot be physically together this year, we are positive that you will feel the warmth and love from our chapter as we continue to pivot through this unique time in history.
In an effort to deliver fun and engaging activities, we have been sensitive to the fatigue that we are ALL experiencing with our overabundance of screen time. Through our theme, The Arts in Us: Discovering
Our Gifts, we have focused on the arts while still providing intentional STEaM programming. The arts benefit us all through the promotion of self-esteem, cultural exposure, creativity, and improved emotional expression. The arts can also relieve stress and promote relaxation. Through the merger of science with the arts, we have tailored programming for all age groups that will provide opportunities for creativity, learning and fun.
Our hope is that our children will leave this virtual event with a stronger commitment to their existing interests and an introduction to a new interest under the umbrella of STEaM that will unlock and showcase the many talents that make them unique.
