Kid Capri, known for his longtime DJ role on “Def Comedy Jam!” He has produced on various soundtracks for film, music, television and has done several music projects. Kid has completed 2 classic albums, with a third on the way called “TOP TIER” Kid is steadily selling out venues across the country and hitting the international markets as well.

David Anthony Love born in Brooklyn, raised in the Bronx, Kid Capri was born to be creative and ambitious. As a young child scaling his family’s old Zenith stereo system in the attempt to scratch records before he was even ten years old. Kid first inched his way onto the hip-hop scene with the grass-roots approach of club gigs and creating mixtapes. Kid is the original guru of mixtapes, as he saw their profit potential early in his career, he paved the way and other DJ’S followed.

A few venues Kid has deejayed for were Jay-z Oscar Party 2018, DJ Khaled Birthday Party, New York International Auto Show with Toyota and DJ Dougie Fresh. Kid embarked the 2018 Global Spin Awards in Los Angeles during NBA All Star weekend, Snoop Dogg presented Kid with the Red Award in honor of DJ Red Alert, Kid produced THE GOOD FOOT for Snoop Dogg 2018 release.

Kid also starred in Netflix’s Def Comedy Jam’s 25th Anniversary special.

In 2017 Kid Capri collaborated with Kendrick Lamar to narrate Kendrick’s new album, DAMN. Fans should look forward to more to come from this talented twosome. Kid Capri’s infamous voice was also featured in the 2017 Tupac film “All Eyes On Me”.

Kid Capri has begun hosting Kid Capri’s Block Party every weekend on Sirius XM-Fly. Kid Capri’s block party bridges the gap with throwbacks to new tracks, he interview’s the biggest names in the industry, and delivers fresh features to keep the playlist on tilt.

In January 2016, Kid Capri premiered his voice and sounds as part of Jennifer Lopez’s first ever headlining residency, “Jennifer Lopez – ALL I HAVE” in Las Vegas at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. When J Lo was preparing for her residency she knew there was no other DJ to ask to introduce the “Bronx” segment of her show that would be more appropriate, and more capable than the “World’s Greatest” to get her audiences beyond pumped up.

His face first became a part of the cultural landscape on the popular Russell Simmons Def Comedy Jam. He was the first DJ to appear and perform on major networks such as BET and VH1 showcasing his skills on the 1’s and 2’s. Kid continues to expand on his formula for success. Kid has also been featured as lead judge on Smirnoff’s “Master of the Mix”, the hit reality TV competition in search of the country’s hottest DJ’S, alongside host Just Blaze and fellow judges Amber Rose and Vikter Duplaix. In November 2013, Kid Capri was honored at the Global Spin Awards. Russell Simmons with Just Blaze presented Kid with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement award at the New York Times Center. In the fall of 2012, Master of the Mix made a bold move from BET to VH1. Kid was again featured as a judge alongside Mia Moretti and Benny Medina on Season 3 premiered of VH1.

In March 2012 Kid was commissioned to remix “Masterpiece”, an exclusive track featured on the special Smirnoff Nightlife Edition of Madonna’s album, MDNA. He joined her for the album release party in Miami as a part of Winter Music Conference, and the album was released on March 26, 2012.
He has produced music for power players like Madonna, Jay-Z, Heavy D, 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes, Nas, Snoop Dogg, L.L. Cool J., Foxy Brown, The Lox, Big Pun and Uncle Luke just to name a few. His studio precision and artistry have made him a Grammy-award winning producer.

Kid has toured extensively with multi-platinum artists such as Sean “P. Diddy” Combs, L.L. Cool J, Busta Rhymes, Foxy Brown, NAS, Lil’ Kim, Mase, Jay-Z, Usher, R-Kelly, Mary J. Blige, Dru Hill, Ginuwine and Aaliyah, Def Comedy Jam (1993 – 2001). He has toured extensively in the U.S., Europe, Haiti, Africa, Canada, Mexico and Japan along with other countries.

Kid is the CEO and Founder of Kid Capri Enterprise and No Kid N Records. The G.I.V.A. Kid-Foundation is a personal passion project for Kid Capri. G.I.V.A. Kid-Foundation is a charitable 501c3 foundation aimed at enhancing the lives of under privileged youth. The foundation provides resources for breakfasts, school supplies, educational events and initiatives that benefit the youth and the communities in which they reside.
