Jordyn Allen is a passionate public speaker who lives by the motto “Speak to Inspire. Speak to Empower.” As a firm believer that your voice is the most powerful weapon, she founded “Speak to Inspire. Speak to Empower.” to teach children and adults the art of public speaking. Jordyn's speeches have been imbedded in high school and college public speaking curricula across the nation, including at Howard University. She has been named the NSDA Informative Speaking National Champion, HBCU National Informative Speaking Champion, and Harvard University Informative Speaking Champion. Jordyn has also been featured on the Joy Reid Show, Clinton Global Initiative, and facilitated conversations with Jamie Dimon, CEO of JP Morgan Chase & Company and Melonie Parker, Chief Diversity Officer at Google.

Jordyn is from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and is a graduating Senior at Howard University studying Marketing and Political Science. Jordyn is also the 62nd Executive President of the Howard
University Student Association (HUSA). During her tenure thus far, Jordyn has prepared an analysis on the effects of the overturning of Roe v. Wade for Howard University Administration
that was requested by the Office of the Vice-President of the United States, increased HUSA’s instagram following by 5,000 followers, cursed thee first ever Pride Fest to celebrate the LGBTQ+
community on any HBCU campus and more. Prior to becoming President, Jordyn served in HUSA for 3 years as Executive Chief of Staff Intern and the youngest and only two-term chair of the
HUSA Senate and Senator for the School of Business. During her time in the HUSA Senate, Jordyn passed legislation creating over $70,000 in permanent annual funding for the Howard University Royal Court, established “Junior Senate” sessions to provide nearly 50 freshman the opportunity to draft, debate and pass legislation, and authored “Black Panther Day” to honor the life of Chadwick Boseman and “The Kamala Harris Public Servant Award” and “The Good Trouble Award” legislation to honor the work of past and current Bison.

While at Howard, Jordyn has interned at Google, JPMorgan Chase & Company, Emerson Collective, National Crittenton and for The Honorable Former U.S. Senator and Present Vice-
President Kamala Harris. Over the past three years, Jordyn has been recognized for her academic, leadership, professional, and extracurricular achievements to include: AT&T Rising Future Maker Honoree, Executive Leadership Council Scholar, Sour Patch Kids Mischief for Change Scholar, Taco Bell Live Mas Scholar, McDonald’s Black & Positively Golden Scholar, and Thurgood
Marshall Scholarship Fund Scholar and 3-Time Howard University Academic Year Dean’s List Recipient.

On campus, Jordyn is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Alpha Chapter the Howard University Speech & Debate Team, the Howard University Florida Club, the Office of
Corporate Relations Student Council and served as a Student Ambassador for the Office of Admissions. Upon graduating in May of 2023, Summa Cum Laude, Jordyn will be working for
Google as aa Legal Removals Policy Specialist in the Austin Office.
