Welcome Message from Regional Director Deidre Lindsey

Mothers of the Mighty Mid-Western Region,

On behalf of the Regional Executive Board, it brings me great joy to welcome you to the registration site for the 2023 Area Workday Clusters. I am grateful that you will make time to join us in either Lombard, Illinois or Novi, Michigan this fall as we work, live, and play together!

Your 2023-2025 Regional Executive Board, along with the Illinois North and Michigan Centers of Excellence, have worked tirelessly to deliver purposeful programming that will leave you feeling energized, focused, and inspired. Throughout the weekend, I ask that you engage fully in all aspects of the cluster and find ways to have meaningful connections with chapter, regional, and national leaders, as well as mothers from across our region.

This year’s Area Workday Cluster theme is “The Power of a Dream.”  Our goal is to deliver on our dream of providing experiences designed especially for you, our

members, and our teens. We look forward to interacting with you and providing opportunities throughout our agenda to listen, engage, and educate. The workshops that have been planned are designed to strengthen the foundational elements of your member and chapter experience as well as enhancing your personal and life skills.

Please review the registration site and look for additional information in our regional newsletter, The Friday R.A.P. Up! in the coming weeks. Thank you for your confidence in us as we launch this program year. Our region is blessed to have you!

In Service to ALL children,

Deidre Lindsey
Mid-Western Regional Director

Welcome Message from Regional Teen President Carlos Dillard, Jr.

Greetings Teens of the Mighty Mid-Western Region,

Welcome to Area Workday Cluster 2023! The Regional Teen Officers and I are looking forward to you experiencing everything we have planned for you.  First and foremost, it is important for you to have fun and be yourself at Area Workday.  Authenticity is key in making genuine connections. I encourage you to be open and willing to share your thoughts and experiences.  Remember, everyone is there to make connections.  Embrace the opportunity to meet new people, collaborate, and learn from one another.  It is essential to approach gatherings with enthusiasm, being true to yourself, and having fun while engaging in meaningful conversations.  I challenge you to step out of your comfort zone and engage in the workshops and straight talk topics so that you experience everything Area Workday has to offer.  So, let us connect and celebrate our Black Brilliance!

Yours In Service,

Carlos Dillard, Jr.
Regional Teen President
