FRIDAY EVENTS
For Friday, there is a Welcome Reception for all attendees from 5:00pm – 7:00pm. Starting at 7:30pm, there will be breakout rooms that are targeted to different age groups. For each age group, a designated adult will need to be with the child/teen to escort to each experience.  Teens will have a party that parents do not need to chaperone.

SATURDAY CULTURAL TOURS
On Saturday, tours will start at 9:00am and families can stay together starting on the bus until the 12:00pm return.  Moms with multiple kids that would like to be on differing touring tracks need to think about who will be with your child/teen as all children/teen will need to be accompanied by an adult on our Saturday excursion. This is not only for safety but also for conversation.  Besides spouses and fathers, we suggest that mother members partner up prior to registration to make sure all children can be accounted for and have the best experience that would be suited for them.  During the registration process, you will need to name the registered adult who will be with each child.

***We received notice that the government shutdown caused delays to the Anacostia Community Museum’s planned renovations. Because of this, the museum must close and cannot host our group in January.

SATURDAY FOUNDERS DAY BALL
You are responsible for your child(ren).

SUNDAY
Families will be seated together for the Worship service and breakfast.

Yes, each teen will need a designated registered adult to escort them for the events.

For the Saturday Cultural Tours, it is important that all groups stay together, starting on their assigned bus and during the time at each venue. To stay on time and organized, we cannot afford delays while groups try to reconnect. Therefore, you will need to travel on the bus with the group.

We do not have a limit on the number of children one adult can reasonably manage in each age grouping, however, please consider the normal ratio of 1 adult to 5 children.
