Jasmine Stewart is a member of the Greater North Atlanta Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. She has served as a past President of the Junior Teen group and is the Immediate Past Foundation Chair. A rising sophomore at Milton High School, Jasmine is also the winner of Season 5 of the FOX hit show MasterChef Junior. When she took home the title at age 12, she became the first African American winner of the show and the only contestant in the show’s history to come back and win after having been eliminated. Jasmine was honored to work with both Gordon Ramsay and Christina Tosi, the judges of this FOX television show, as well as with Martha Stewart, Wolfgang Puck and many others. Since the show, Jasmine has stayed busy with speaking engagements, Camp MasterChef, an online cooking class called “Jasmine’s Delightful Desserts” on BluPrint.com, the Junior Chef Council for Great Wolf’s Lodge, and most recently was a part of the cast for the MasterChef Junior Live Tour.

Following in the steps of her parents, Jasmine started her own company, JustJas, LLC, which is focused on girl empowerment and motivational speaking. As a part of that effort, she created the “Let Your Inner Girl Slay” hashtag, theme, and slogan, which is designed to encourage young girls to be confident and not fear pursuing their innermost dreams and hopes. She also recently launched her own line of bags, called GirlBags, and donates a portion of her sales to the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Outside of Jack and Jill, Jasmine cheers, is an active member of the student council, runs track, and volunteers in her community.
