Boyce E. Wilkins, Jr., a native of Nashville, Tennessee, was educated in the public school system of Davidson County (Metro Nashville) and later matriculated to Tennessee State University where he was a member of Tennessee State University’s Aristocrat of Bands. Mr. Wilkins later graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University with a Bachelor of Business Arts (B.A.) and the Master of Religion (M.A.R) degrees. He is currently a candidate for the Master of Divinity (MDiv) degree from Payne Theological Seminary.

Mr. Wilkins has honorably served his community in law enforcement at the local and federal levels for fifteen years. He is a proud United States Air Force veteran who has honorably served our great nation for twenty-nine years; to include three combat tours in Afghanistan.

Mr. Wilkins is an active member of Greater Bethel African Methodist Episcopal (A.M.E.) Church where he serves on the ministerial staff. He also serves as the President of the Sons of Allen Men’s Ministry and serves as a dedicated member of other ministries and auxiliaries. Mr. Wilkins utilizes his ministerial skills to serve as an advocate for youth and seniors in the community.

Mr. Wilkins is a proud member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. where he serves as the Immediate Past President and as a member of auxiliary committees.

He is married to the former Ms. Tonya Tharpe and they have five adult children.
