Don Mosely serves as Director of Miles College TRIO Student Support Services. Don is responsible for strategic planning, development, management, and supervision of the Miles College TRIO Student Services.

Previously, Don served as the Community Service Director of the Southern Black Law Student Association, a nationally-recognized organization (NBLSA) and an award winning association and Don served as the Project Manager of the Jefferson Family Resource Center, Inc.
Additionally, Don serves as President of the Birmingham City Toastmasters, President of the United Negro College Fund (UNCF) Young Professional Advisory Council (YPAC) and Bare Hands, Inc. Junior Board as a member.

Don has served in key leadership roles including President of Birmingham School of Law’s Black Law Students Association (BLSA), Polemarch of the Delta Tau Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi, Inc. and President of the Miles College National Pan-Hellenic Council. Don served as the Judicial Assistant to the Presiding Judge of Jefferson County Family Court, Judge Janine Hunt-Hilliard. Don has also served as an Executive Administrative Assistant to the Director of Government Affairs, Birmingham City Mayor’s Office/Americorps Vista, FEMA, Project Rebound, ARCH of Alabama, Jefferson County Committee for Economic Opportunity and University of Alabama at Birmingham Adolescents Mentoring Program.

Don moved from Houma, Louisiana after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. Don received his undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from Miles College and earned his Juris Doctorate (JD) from Birmingham School of Law as a first-generation graduate for both.
Don is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and a member of the Birmingham Chapter of Miles College Alumni. He has received numerous awards and accolades from organizations such as a State of Alabama House Resolution #736, Male Leadership of the Year, United Negro College Fund Scholar, and a special featured in the Birmingham News’ “On the Move” Article March.
