Audrey Boone Tillman, executive vice president and general counsel of Aflac Incorporated, directs Aflac’s Legal division and functions related to Compliance, Government Relations, Federal Relations, State Government Relations, Corporate Communications, and the office of the Corporate Secretary. In addition to her role at Aflac U.S., her responsibilities include oversight functions of the General Counsel
and Compliance offices at Aflac Japan.
Audrey has received numerous national and community awards and accolades during her tenure at Aflac and through her work for civic organizations such as:
• 2015 | Chattahoochee Council of Boy Scouts of America Distinguished Citizen Award
• 2016 | Diamond Award, the highest honor given by the Corporate Counsel Women of Color Association
• 2017 | Distinguished Service Scroll from UGA School of Law alumni association
• 2017 | Rosa Parks Woman of Courage Award from Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
• 2019 | Black Enterprise magazine’s Most Powerful Women in Business
• 2020 | Meritorious Public Service Medal awarded by the Department of the United States Army
Audrey first became a member of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. in 2002 in the Columbus, GA chapter. During her tenure, she has seen all three of her children flourish and learn great life lessons through the organization, with all three having been elected to Regional Teen Offices in the Sweet, Sweet Southeastern Region. She has held the following positions with Jack and Jill:
• Numerous Chapter Offices including Chapter President for 2 consecutive terms
• Served on several Regional and National committees
• Currently the National Legal Advisor
• Life Member Associate
Audrey received a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law. She is also a member of the Columbus, GA Chapter of The Links, Inc. and is a Diamond Life Member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
and Compliance offices at Aflac Japan.
