Description: This workshop will explore two areas of potential danger to our children – social media and vaping. In the first half of this workshop, we will learn strategies to keep our children safe online. With new apps and social media sites coming online seemingly every day, it can be difficult to not only keep up, but discern which are safe and which pose danger. In the second half of this workshop you will learn how vaping continues to pose a great danger to the health of our children.  Attracting younger and younger children, these highly addictive tobacco products threaten the health of our young people.  We will discuss the products used in vaping, how to talk to your children about it, and how to help those who may find themselves already addicted.
