Vickie Williams-Wiley joined the Columbus, Georgia Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated in 2007. As an active mother she served in several leadership roles throughout her active tenure. Some of the roles included: treasurer, financial secretary, grade group sponsor, teen advisor and legislative chair.
Vickie graduated out of Jack and Jill in 2015 and has been actively engaged with the Columbus, Georgia Associate Group. As an Associate she has continued to participate in programming that supports local community initiatives. Likewise, she remains engaged in Jack and Jill of America, Inc., by attending Mothers Workday, Teen Conference, Regional and National Conferences.
Vickie was appointed as the Southeastern Regional Associate Chair in 2018. As the Regional Associate Chair, she works with the Southeastern Region Associate Groups to ensure that they provide and plan activities that meet the requirements of the organization. She serves as chair of the Associates at the Region’s Biennial Mothers’ Conference and fulfill duties as directed by the Regional Director. In 2020 she was appointed to represent the Southeastern Region as the National Associate Chair. In this role, she works with the Regional Associate Chairs to provide and plan activities that meet and satisfy the requirements of the organization.
She holds a Bachelor and Masters of Science Degree from Troy University and is a Leadership Graduate from the University of Alabama. Vickie is employed by the Alabama Community College System as Dean of Student Development and Success and was recently recognized as Administrator of the Year by the Alabama Community College Association. She is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, where she serves as President of the Columbus (GA) Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter; a member of the Columbus, GA Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Columbus Program; a member of The Links, Incorporated, Columbus, GA Chapter and is actively engaged with several civic organizations. Vickie resides in Columbus, GA. Her legacy, Joseph Wiley, III is a 2015 alum of Jack and Jill.
