Tomyka Chaney, CEO of Best BOOM! Strategies, LLC, a Training and Development center in Midtown Atlanta, a Brenau alumna, is a well-respected and award winning Atlanta entrepreneur and Business Development Partner with over 20 years of experience in the field of business development, corporate training and public relation communications. As an award winning Business Development Manager and Solutions Sales Director with several fortune 500 companies, her professionalism and business acumen has yielded many high revenue contracts throughout a cross-section of industries such as mass communication, telecommunications, finance, data solutions, employment, not-for- profit, and education.
In 2009, she founded Best Boom! Strategies, a training and development firm focused on project management, public relations consulting and change management. To expand her business portfolio, in 2012 she created Best BOOM! Strategies Training and Development Center, to include online training courses which provides career transition workshops, training for project management certifications, six-sigma, SCRUM and other professional certificates to further expand the careers and organizational successes for her clients.
She has trained and motivated over 5200 students, sales professionals, sports teams, transitional workers and college students to their next levels of success. Since 2008, as a visiting lecturer and former keynote speaker while participating with the (BEEP) Business Executive Exchange Program at several area colleges, she has helped the division of business at Paine College as well as other organizations complete the accreditation process by giving industry advice to the board of directors. She is also a past recipient of the Vanguard Award in servant leadership for her business leadership and community service in YMCA South DeKalb County.
As an active member of the East Suburban Atlanta chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated where she has held the following roles in the chapter as well being appointed to regional and national roles:

Ms. Chaney is also a graduate of Leadership Dekalb Class of 2019 and proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, where she pledged in the Rho Eta Chapter at Brenau University. She is enjoying life with her loving husband Ron and beautiful daughter, Brookie who is the former 2020 Miss Black Teen International Ambassador where her platform is focused on raising the awareness of Black Maternal Mortality with her organization LISTEN.
