Sunni LeBeouf is a Mother in the New Orleans Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated who currently serves as Assistant Vice President of Community and Public Affairs with Ochsner Health, where she is developing community initiatives designed to improve Louisiana’s health rankings by eliminating barriers to healthcare and bringing more resources to underserved communities.
Prior to joining the Ochsner Health team, Sunni served as City Attorney for the City of New Orleans (the “City”), where she was responsible for the daily management of complex legal and other matters involving elected and appointed officials, corporate and community stakeholders, City leaders, employees, and the public. For her work as City Attorney, Sunni was named the 2020 New Orleans CityBusiness Woman of the Year.
Prior to leading the City’s Law Department, Sunni served as the Civil Chief of the United States Attorney’s Office, Eastern District of Louisiana (EDLA), where she diligently represented the interest of the United States of America. She also worked closely with the United States Attorney in promoting programs to prevent gun violence amongst youth.
In addition to being honored as the 2020 CityBusiness Woman of the Year, Sunni was also honored as a CityBusiness Leader in Law and Merit Award recipient of the Bureau of Governmental Research. Sunni is a proud graduate of Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and the George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C. Sunni most enjoys spending time with her family and serving her community.
