Tanisha was born & raised in Los Angeles, CA, and left sunny Cali to experience HBCU life to attend "the Mecca" Howard University. She graduated from the School of Business in the early 90s. She is a wife of 19 years, blended family mother of 5, & lives in her hometown of Los Angeles, California.
Becoming a professional organizer is a career after Tanisha's own heart. Organizing has been a passion of hers since she was a young child and a skill that comes as second nature. Pair her organizing skills with her intense desire to serve people and Tanisha's dream career was born. She has guided, through her company Natural Born Organizers, countless amount of clients through the declutter process in a fraction of the time & frustration than when they do it themselves.
She has been featured on Good Day LA, and in popular publications such as Better Homes & Gardens, Real Simple, The Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, Costco Connections Magazine, & online platforms like Parents.com, Goop.com, and The Strategists to name a few.
She has had the opportunity to collaborate with influencers like Patrice C Washington (Redefining Wealth Podcast), Adeea Rogers (The Trendsetters Lifestyle Podcast), Ronnie Brown's GirlCEO Blog, and with Luvvie Ajayi-Jones' Luvv Nation "Do Better Purge Challenge" leading into 2020 & 2021.
Tanisha is an active member of the National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals (NAPO), Past President of the Los Angeles Chapter, an active member of the National Association of Black Professional Organizers, an active member of the Institute of Challenging Disorganization & on the NAPO Diversity Task Force.
She spent the first 8-weeks of the 2020 pandemic building a community of women across the country on ZOOM who not only wanted to create order in their lives but needed to due to the immediate shift with everyone and everything being at home caused by COVID-19.
Remember: Being organized doesn’t mean your space will/has to be perfect at ALL times. What it does, it makes maintaining your space measurably easier and less time-consuming.
