Danielle Buchanan has been shaping the lives of children through the art of dance for the past 15 years. A native of Connecticut, Danielle grew up dancing at a local dance studio in Stratford, CT for 14 years then took her dance studies to Harlem School of Arts for one year. Her love of dance transferred into college where she majored in Psychology and minored in Dance. While attending Central Connecticut State University, Danielle co-created a hip hop dance group called Toxic where they performed and won at Showtime at the Apollo in Harlem, NY and opened up for artist such as, Sean Paul, 112 and was the opening act for Hot 93.7 Jingle Jam Concert.

Danielle realized at an early age her love of helping others and received her master’s degree in social work from New York University in 2013. She is currently a fulltime clinical therapist where she helps children and families with mental and behavioral health issues. Danielle teaches ballet and hip hop at Tia Russell’s Dance Studio in Woodbridge CT and is also a wellness coach where she helps others achieve their desired nutritional goals through healthy supplements, meal guides and workout plans. Danielle hosts a hip hop cardio class every Sunday afternoon in Bridgeport, CT for teens & adults who are interested in a fun way to exercise.

Danielle is a wife and mother to her 3 year old daughter Caia, 5 month old son Chace and her bonus son Casey who is 12.
