Vynessa Alexander has been a member of the Chicago Chapter since 1994, she is an Associate Life Member and currently serves as the Mid-Western Region Associate Chair. She has served Jack and Jill for over 25 years as an Active Mother and Associate. As an Associate she has served as the SME for the Five Star Financial team for 2 years, serving as the Chicago Chapter Associate Chair for over 5 years and Chairman of the Mid-Western Region Associate Getaway (2016, 2018). During her tenure as an active mother she served as the Co-Chair of the 2010 National Convention in Chicago; Chairman of the Regional Nominating Committee; Member of the Regional Finance Committee for 4 years and assisted in the development of the annual financial report in the inaugural version of the National Financial Handbook. In the Chicago Chapter she served as Chapter President, Treasurer, Group Chairman, Committee Chair. Her service to Jack and Jill has been rewarded with the several Mid-Western Regional accolades, 2003 Outstanding Treasurer Award; 2008 Distinguished Mother of the Year; 2015 Mid-Western Associate of the Year. Vynessa is the proud mother of Sterling, an IT Professional in Charlotte and the proud Grandmother to Sterling II age 3.5. Professionally, Vynessa is the Senior Vice President of Development at Infor, Inc where she manages a global team of software developers, quality assurance and project managers for the Nexus Cloud Supply Chain platform supporting 500 of the world’s largest brands and retailers with over 60,000 users worldwide. Vynessa is active in the community serving in officer positions in several organizations. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha serving as Chairman of the Annual Fundraising Gala; a National Officer of Top Ladies of Distinction; President of the Lincoln Park Chicago Chapter of TLOD; Treasurer for the National Coalition of the 100 Black Women Chicago. Vynessa is very active in her church, Trinity United Church of Christ where she chairs the Information Technology ministry and has served on the Long-Range Planning committee.
