Marcy Fitzgerald is a Certified Nurse Practitioner dedicated to improving the overall health and wellness of women of color, with increased focus on the health of black women. Long underserved and with health outcomes often less favorable than our non-POC counterparts, Marcy believes this population deserves passionate advocates committed to our health.

Marcy graduated with honors with both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing degrees from the University of Cincinnati. Prior to this, Marcy also graduated with honors from Florida A&M University with a BS in Computer Information Systems and from the University of Michigan with an MBA. She held the positions of systems analyst and finance manager prior to embarking on a career change more in line with her passion for health.

Marcy’s ability to connect with people across every demographic makes her a sought-out speaker, panelist, and facilitator for a variety of health topics. She has engaged thousands of individuals in both live and virtual environments. She served as the Mid-Western Region representative on the National Mental Health Task force for Jack and Jill of America, Inc. for two years, has facilitated mental health roundtables and webinars for both Jack and Jill and The Links, Incorporated, and has also facilitated and served as a panelist for several Covid vaccine webinars.
