Attorney Tinnetta Thompson is an attorney for the Department of Police Accountability in the City & County of San Francisco. Raised in Vallejo, CA, Tinnetta attended UCLA where she obtained her BA in English. She then attended Tulane University Law School. Tinnetta is a licensed attorney in California and Tennessee.

Prior to joining DPA, Tinnetta spent nine years as an assistant district attorney at the SFDA’s office. She served as the High Lethality Domestic Violence ADA, handling the most serious domestic violence cases in San Francisco.

Tinnetta is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Jack and Jill of America Inc. Greater Vallejo Chapter, mentor for the Jesse Bethel High School Law Academy (Vallejo, CA), and a board member of Fighting Back Partnership Vallejo, a non-profit organization aimed at combating homelessness in Vallejo and Solano County.
