Abby West is a recovering journalist and true pop culture junkie, whose decades at prominent media organizations such as Essence, Entertainment Weekly, and People have given her a love of stories that explore, empower, and celebrate underrepresented communities. Now at Audible, she heads up the Hear My Story initiative, focused on multicultural content programming and amplifying diverse voices and narratives. Abby co-founded the Black Employee Network @ Audible with Yvonne Durant in 2019. She also serves on the boards for Be the Match, the National Marrow Donor Program, and the Children’s Law Center of New York.
