Jennifer Mack-Watkins is a printmaker and art educator. She received her BA in Studio Arts from Morris Brown College, Master of Arts in Teaching from Tufts University and Master of Fine Arts in Printmaking from Pratt Institute. Jennifer’s work investigates societal conformities that isolates individuals to be confined to fit into a space which often includes the complexities of being a woman, beauty images, relationships, body image, power, and gender roles.

Mack-Watkins was a recipient of "The Elizabeth Catlett Printmaking Award" given by Hampton University Museum. acquired by Agnes In addition to her work being featured in numerous group exhibitions at The Whitney Houston Biennale 2017, Miami/New York SCOPE Art Show and the Trout Museum, it has also been acquired by Scott College, The Newark Public Library, and Clark Atlanta University. Currently, she has a solo museum exhibition at the Brattleboro Museum and Art Center in Vermont. Mack-Watkins has also been featured in The New York Times, Vogue and Essence. In the summer of 2015, Jennifer was selected to participate in the Mokuhanga Innovation Laboratory artist-in-residence program in Yamanashi, Japan. In the same year, The Joan Mitchell Foundation nominated her as a 2015 Emerging Artist.
Jennifer Mack-Watkins is a native of Charleston, South Carolina but currently lives and works in New Jersey.
