Trinity Sanders is a multi-talented youth activist and entrepreneur from the Greater Albany Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. in Upstate New York. Sanders is a current Advanced Placement (AP) student in the Class of 2022 with a 4.0 GPA, where she continues to be an inspiring student with a goal of becoming a Civil Rights Attorney and ultimately a United States Senator. In October 2021, Sanders was featured on the
TODAY Show and NBC News where her aspirations of becoming a United States Senator were addressed.

To utilize their passion for the community, Sanders and her best friend, Tsisika Bukhala, created a non-profit organization called Project One. Project One has an overarching goal of empowering our society by building up the community through service work, while gaining knowledge of other life experiences - to eliminate ignorance and bigotry. Sanders also serves as the CEO/Founder of WISE Enterprise, President of the Youth Council in the NAACP of Schenectady, President of the Town of Clifton Park’s Youth Advisory Council and Regional Teen Nominating Chair for the Eastern Region of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Sanders strongly believes that it is important to be active in her school community where she also serves as the President of the Shenendehowa Student, Faculty and Administration (SFA) Senate. For her efforts, Sanders is a recipient of the University of North Carolina Morehead-Cain Scholarship Award, Smith College Women of Distinction Award, George Washington University Book Award and the 2021 Frederick Douglas & Susan B. Anthony Award in Humanities from the University of Rochester.
