Aziz Abdur-Ra’oof is a former NFL player, and has experience in marketing, career planning, and program development. He is a natural connector recognized for building strong relationships predicated on communication, trust, and respect. He has served as an inspirational performance coach who leverages his multilayered life experiences from entrepreneurship to being a professional athlete. He works to cultivate an environment of continued learning and development, while coaching and mentoring students in understanding their “value proposition” in a competing world.

Mr. Abdur-Ra’oof has expertise in the field of mentoring and working with youth. He has been working with the Pasadena area schools in Maryland for at least 5 years and he has been impactful, in particular, at Northeast High School. Mr. Abdur-Ra’oof has been instrumental in efforts to build rapport with students and their families who have been traditionally disenfranchised from the school’s mission “To challenge, inspire, and prepare every student for a postsecondary opportunity,” as well as the school’s vision, “To get to a place where student’s socio-economic background is no longer a predictor of their academic success.”
