Description

What would happen if we really believed the best about each other? What’s stopping us from believing about others what we would like to be believed about us? Though we are surrounded by scores of people with stories that differ from our own, we sometimes go with the stories that confirm stereotypes, even when what’s right in front of us refutes our worst ideas. Our beliefs about others, and the subsequent conversations have the power to build or destroy. We can create those spaces when we untangle ourselves from those inaccurate and often dangerous unconscious biases, offensive micro-aggressions, and the tendency to make ourselves the victim when we may be the ones doing harm.

Join Dr. Worokya Duncan to explore how we can have mutually beneficial and affirming conversations.
