Link Alice Strong Simmons is them18th Central Area Director of The Links, Incorporated. Link Alice has enjoyed a lifelong career as a dedicated educator and community leader with a distinguished career in higher education and civic service. During her tenure as Area Director, Link Alice was a champion for HBCU’s. She was instrumental in launching the Young Women’s Empowerment Institute in partnership with Langston University, a program designed to support first-generation college women at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) through mentorship and life planning.
