Link Kimberly Jeffries Leonard is the 17th National President of The Links, Incorporated and The Links Foundation, Incorporated. A member of the Arlington (VA) Chapter where she was inducted in 1996, she has held positions at the chapter, area and national level, including that of National Director of National Trends and Services, National Recording Secretary and National Vice President. She was a member of the inaugural cohort of the Scott-Hawkins Leadership Institute. Under her administration theme “Transforming Communities ~ Fulfilling Our Purpose,”Link Kim worked to expand the organization’s efforts by joining with likeminded partners who also aimed to transform lives in the communities we serve, thus exponentially increasing our impact. Serving through a global pandemic, The Links, Incorporated virtually celebrated it’s 75th Anniversary under Link Kim’s leadership; received a Certificate of Service from Congressman John Lewis; recognition from the Luxembourg Peace Prize; incepted three signature programs – “Links STEMReady,” “Links Love HBCUs” and “The LIFE (Links International and Foreign Affairs and Business Empowerment) Program” produced the documentary “The Invitation” on the history of The Links, Incorporated; published the 4th edition of the Links History Book; was the first to open the Annual Meeting of the Links Foundation, Incorporated to the membership via a streaming platform and held the first virtual National Assembly.

Link Kim has over 40 years of experience in the applied health, behavioral health and public health sector. In addition to her other Board positions, she is the current chair of the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network, Inc. Board of Directors – the first Black woman to hold this position.
