Link Delores Henderson served as the 14th Central Area Director of The Links, Incorporated. She played a pivotal role in chartering new chapters, including the River City (TN) Chapter in 1993. In 2018, she founded D.E.L.O.R.E.S. WORKS (Developing, Empowering, and Leveraging Occupational Readiness for Economic Sustainability), a nonprofit aimed at closing achievement gaps for students of color by pairing them with experienced educators and providing support to families. Link Delores’ contributions have been honored with numerous awards, including the Minnesota National Principal of the Year, the Martin Luther King Jr. Spurgeon Award, and the St. Paul Foundation’s Facing Race Ambassador Award.
