Link Maureen Sims Black was Inducted into the Columbus (OH) chapter in 1981. She has served her chapter as president, vice president, and recording secretary as well as parliamentarian, protocol chair, and fund-raising co-chair, and as the Arts Facet chair. She was the Central Area Conference Cluster Chair and was a member of the Grants-in-Aid committee. Her commitment to Project LEAD High Expectations was as Co-Chair (first iteration 1987-1990) and later as Project LEAD High Expectations National Governance Committee. She wrote the model for the Central Area demonstration project and was instrumental in assisting Springfield and Cleveland to receive funding.
