Dr. Cheryl Baptiste, DDS, FICD, is President of the National Dental Association and a proud Howard University College of Dentistry graduate. Recently retired from practice after 40+ years in Washington, DC, she began working in her father’s dental office at age 12 and later founded her own practice in 1994. Dr. Baptiste is an active member and leader in numerous professional organizations, including the ADA, RTFDS, and DC Dental Society, where she is Past President. She has also served on the ADA Task Force to Eliminate Barriers for Underrepresented Minorities. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and relaxing on Maryland’s Eastern Shore with her husband, Darryl Hill.
