Greetings Link Sisters,

On behalf of the Chicago Area Cluster, we extend a warm welcome to you and invite you to join us in Chicago the “Windy City” for the 47th Central Area Conference. The members of the Chicago Area Cluster Chapters: Chicago (IL), Harbor Lites (IL),  Hoffman EstTransportationke Shore (IL), North Shore (IL), Northern Indiana (IN) South Suburban Chicago (IL), Windy City (IL),  and West Towns (IL), and are anxiously awaiting your arrival to Chicago.

We have worked tirelessly to deliver an impactful service project, a welcoming and exciting Host Cluster Gala, fun Connecting Link activities and Hospitality for all.

For six consecutive years, Conde’ Nash voted Chicago the Best Big City in the U.S.  We have everything from our famous deep-dish pizza, Chicago-style hot dogs and our famous Garrett’s Popcorn.  The Hyatt Regency Chicago sits steps away from the “mag mile” and the Gold Coast where you can shop at Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, and Neiman Marcus. There is no shortage of luxury boutiques like Burberry, Tory Burch, Gucci, and Barneys New York.  Be sure to take in the rich African American history of Chicago by visiting the DuSable Museum of African American History, the South Side Community Art Center and the Little Black Pearl Art and Design Center, all a short drive from downtown Chicago.

Throughout the conference, you will have the opportunity to participate in a range of workshops, plenary sessions and networking. Whether you are a seasoned member or new to The Links, Incorporated, this conference will be a time to reconnect in person and recommit to our mission of Friendship and Service.

It has been our pleasure to serve as Chair and Co-Chairs of the Host Cluster, working with dedicated committee leaders and under the leadership of our dynamic Central Area Director, Link Monica B. Allen.

Let’s get ready to Lead, Grow and Serve. The journey continues together.

In Friendship and Service,
